A couple things I saw that you might take a look at:

1. You might want to think about taking "English Raven" out of the above 'backlinks'. It will shorten up the links considerably.
2. You might want to change the logo up top to link it back to your website's homepage. There's no way to loopback to your site.
3. Just a suggestion, but you might want to start with not as many options under the main page of your forum. I'm guessing you're just like me and have pre-thought every angle of this project. However, my friends are always telling me to start simple and keep everything looking simple.

BTW, I'm also a Phonics nerd. I found the strategies in your basic phonics lessons an interesting approach -- all the squiggley lines before even writing letters, etc.
